The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts

The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts is a unique Grade II listed art gallery and museum situated in the striking parkland of UEA's campus. The Norman Foster-designed building is beautiful to visit any time of year, and houses world-class collections which include everything from Francis Bacon portraits, Picasso drawings and a Degas sculpture, to 1500-year-old Mayan figurines and antique Japanese scrolls. Stop for a cup of tea or something to eat in our Modern Life Café, browse in our award-winning shop, or enjoy one of our ever-changing temporary exhibitions.
