A weekend of family entertainment and extraordinary performances will take over Chapelfield Gardens and Outside The Forum, on the middle weekend of the Festival. The acts below will be joined by many more, plus there will be delicious food and drink available so you can make a day of it.
ALL EVENTS ARE FREE, and to give just a taster of what's on offer:
- In a costume of fluorescent hi-tops and spandex unitards, wannabe celebs Famous Seamus and Sean-tastic perform to a soundtrack of guilty pleasures.
- Frantic is an explosive and moving exploration of our relentless devotion to busyness.
- Step inside THE LIFT, choose a floor and prepare to be whisked away to another moment, with a set of characters that you don’t know, or maybe just didn’t ever notice.
- A modern day soap opera told through puppetry, physical theatre, dance and circus.
- An amusing journey through space and time, cosseted in a caravan decked out in sumptuous 70s décor and sensitively piloted by two ex-astronauts.
- An outdoors performance that combines sculptural machinery with slap-stick clownery.
