Public Meeting: Who owns our NHS?

Public Meeting: Who owns our NHS?

Since the passing of the Health and Social Care Act in 2012, £10 billion of health care contracts have been sold off to the private sector and more are on their way. A new policy called mutualisation proposes to take even the ownership of our NHS out of the public sector. Both N&N Foundation Trust and The Norfolk and Suffolk Mental Health Trust have applied to become mutuals. What does this mean for our NHS? What questions should we ask political candidates in the run up to the general election?

Speakers: Prof. Sue Richards, national Co-Chair KONP,
Terry O'Shea, founder member of the Campaign to Save Mental Health Services in Norfolk and Suffolk,
Anna Atthow, retired surgeon.
KONP is a non-party campaigning group committed to the public ownership and public provision of our NHS.
