Here’s your chance to go behind the scenes at Norwich Cathedral and gain an insight into the work of our Broderers’ Guild.
The Guild is responsible for the care and repair of ecclesiastical textiles, as well as designing and making new frontals and vestments.
It also offers its services to parishes and private individuals within the Diocese and beyond, providing restoration expertise, alterations or repairs to existing ecclesiastical work and designing and making new textile items such as chasubles, stoles and frontals.
This year’s workshop tours take place on the following Wednesday’s, from 2.00pm:
• 15 April
• 20 May
• 17 June
• 15 July
• 19 August
• 16 September
• 14 October
• and 18 November
To round off the day the tour group are welcomed into the Refectory, where you can enjoy a nice bite to eat or a lovely afternoon tea!
