The club meets every Friday from 8.30 to 11.30 pm at the the Christ Church Centre on Magdalen Road (NR3 4LA), opposite the Whalebone pub.
Bring a bottle – teas and coffee always available in the kitchen.
Friday folk song sessions
We have a weekly folk song session, hosted by a club or guest MC, with a wide mixture of tunes and songs. Entry is free and we welcome all performers – there is no need to reserve a slot. Our definition of ‘folk’ is broad and we appreciate every contribution. But there is no pressure to take part – we also welcome everyone who enjoys listening to live acoustic music. Themed evenings crop up every so often as an extra challenge!
