Norwich Craftivists, join our stitch-in!
Thursday 15th September 2016 - 18:00
Who is the Craftivist Collective?
“We believe a true Craftivist uses craft as a tool for gentle activism aimed at influencing long-term change.”
Join us for a group stitch-up! We'll meet at the Missing Kind and weather permitting we'll take a short stroll to a local park (if it's gloomy we'll sit in the KindaKafe!) and start stitching! This session will be led by Sabrina Bartram who participated in our 30 Day Challenge in May. Sabrina is passionate about all things crafty and inclusive.
"Group stitch-ins are great. Not only does it feel fantastic to get together with some friendly faces to discuss and share ideas on social justice, it can make the world of difference to the projects you’re working on too. Hearing other people’s views on subjects they are passionate about can be inspiring and can open up completely new ways of thinking for you. "
“If we want the world to be more beautiful, kind and fair, then shouldn’t our activism also be more beautiful, kind and fair?”
