BREXIT LECTURE

Brexit and the future of the UK

 Thursday 19th January 2017 - 18:30
'Brexit means Brexit' but what does that mean? The future of a United Kingdom

Prof John Curtice (University of Strathclyde)

Prof Michael Keating (University of Aberdeen)

Dr Jo Hunt (University of Cardiff)

 Dr Nikos Skoutaris (UEA)

This event will examine the future of the UK as a union of nations in light of the EU referendum result. With a majority of Scottish MPs committed to remaining within the EU and given the Scottish government’s recent publication of a draft bill for a second independence referendum, this event will focus on the question of whether the UK can remain united in the face of Brexit.

The discussion is followed by a free, informal drinks reception, giving the audience a chance to meet the speakers.
