New U is a clothing and accessories shop with a difference.
New-U is a unique shop operating on the basis of donate, swap or loan with no cash transactions. Customers will be able to bring 10 items of clothing/ accessories they no longer want and swap for vouchers to spend in the store. We have womenswear, menswear and childrenswear. New-U also has a loan scheme set up to provide ‘smart’ clothing that young adults can borrow for job interviews or similar occasions.
The New-U shop is also set up to give young people the skills and confidence to progress into employment by offering retail work experience placements in a supportive environment.
New-U is a partnership between OPEN Youth Trust and Talent Match New Anglia and funded through The Big Lottery Fund.
