To find free stuff to do in Norwich, you can search the calendar for events today or in the future, or find something specific using the search bar on the right. Please note, I'm returning to this blog after a long break. I'm trying to make sure that the calendar function is up to date, but this may take some time Please bear with me, and always check with the organiser that the event is going ahead! Free food - Grow your own

Want to grow your own food?  How about getting an allotment?  It's almost free (£40 a year).  There is a bit of a waiting list though.  Visit http://www.norwich.gov.uk/environment/parksandopenspaces/allotments

If you can't wait, you can always come along on a Sunday to Norwich Community Green Gym's allotment on Sycamore Crescent - free hot drinks, equipment and training provided (and any fruit/veg, when it's ready!).  Visit http://norwichcommunitygreengym.blogspot.co.uk or email norwichcommunitygg@gmail.com

Sustainable Living Initiative is a non-profit social enterprise that has a ‘grow-our-own’ allotment project based on Bluebell South. It is aimed at encouraging and supporting people to grow their own organic fruit and vegetables.  Visit www.grow-our-own.co.uk

Norwich FarmShare is a community-owned farm growing delicious seasonal vegetables just outside Norwich, which they then deliver fresh into Norwich every week for members. It does cost a little to be a member though.  Visit http://norwichfarmshare.co.uk/
