To find free stuff to do in Norwich, you can search the calendar for events today or in the future, or find something specific using the search bar on the right. Please note, I'm returning to this blog after a long break. I'm trying to make sure that the calendar function is up to date, but this may take some time Please bear with me, and always check with the organiser that the event is going ahead! I love getting feedback! Or if you have any suggestions for posts please contact freestufftodoinnorwich@gmail.com or via the facebook page

Try Boccia

Boccia is a type of bowling for disabled people.  It was originally devised  for people with cerebral palsy but now has players with a range of physical and learning disabilities and it is a patypralympic sport.

Norwich Boccia Club was started eight years ago and plays every Thursday evening at the Sewell Park Sports Centre on Constitution Hill and aims to enable players to take part in the sport and then to socialise afterwards.

Boccia helps members to feel they are part of a group and helps improve their confidence, concentration and motor skills and  their awareness of the difficulties of other players.
