Wymondham Festival

Wymondham Festival has some free music and events including...

Sun 29 June - 11:50 Guided Town Walk.  A walk led by Blue Badge Guide Judy Hawkins. Find out more about our historic town. Meet in the Abbey churchyard at 11:50. More info from John Wood 01953 602051.

Sat 28 June Brother Pit - Acoustic Americana from the East. Seven voices, three guitars, one mandolin, one banjo and an accordion.

Sat 5 July Klezmerized! The band’s repertoire pays homage to Klezmer, traditional Eastern European Jewish music. The result is fun, lively danceable music with Middle Eastern, Gypsy and Balkan influences along with slower, soulful tunes and songs full of pathos and yearning.

Sat 12 July Wymondham Old Timers with Bays River Jazz - Come and see the beautifully restored vehicles of Wymondham Old Timers, with music provided by the well know local group Bays River Jazz - John Temple sax/clarinet, Peter Pease guitar/banjo/vocals and Ian Hireson bass.

Wymondham is generally a very lovely town with a lovely abbey (sometimes they have tower open days where you can find out about the bell ringers).
