Sky Ride Local in Norwich

This ride offers you the chance to see some of the sights around the Eaton Park area. To begin with the route passes through Eaton Park with its beautiful rose garden, boating lake, small gauge railway, bandstand (built in 1928) and modern skate park and speedway. The route then turns towards the village of Eaton where you will have the chance to see it's historic Red Lion Public House, its 'Elephant' village sign and the thatched roofed St Andrews Church. The ride then goes along Marston Lane cycle way passing Eaton Golf Course and Marston Marshes. We'll return to the start point via quiet suburban roads and along the Lakenham Way cycle and pedestrian route.

If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.

Part of Sky Ride free guided bike rides.
