Change in the workplace - does it work? And for whom?
UEA Professorial Inaugural Lectures Autumn 2014
Professor Karina Nielsen (Norwich Business School)
Controversy surrounds the effectiveness of organisational-level interventions in the workplace, which focus on how work is organised, designed and managed. In order to understand these changes better, Prof Nielsen will argue that we may need to move beyond the simple question of ‘what works?' and start asking ‘what works, for whom, and under which circumstances?'
Join us for an opportunity to hear about cutting-edge research taking place at UEA from our newly appointed professors. The 2014 autumn series covers a fascinating range of topics, from religion and politics to plant-killing diseases. You don't have to be an expert to enjoy these open public lectures and there is a chance to meet the speaker at a free drinks reception after the talk.
