Each of the film makers has worked with BBC Voices here at The Forum and there's something for everyone.

Topics covered include former Norwich City footballers, the Japanese art of Manga and life on a Norfolk farm.

Girlhood Film Launch

A Century of Girlhood Film Launch

Event organised by Day of the Girl Norwich

Join us as we toast the launch of the film 'A Century of Girlhood: A selection of films celebrating girls from East Anglia'. The launch event will include a wine and juice reception, welcoming talk and film preview and screening.

The film features archival footage of girls from East Anglia from 1896 through to the current day, sourced from the East Anglian Film Archive.

The film will be screened in Fusion throughout the week from 10am-4pm, up to and including Day of the Girl which is being celebrated at the Forum with a series of activities, stall holders, cafe conversations and exhibition of works created by young people.

Free film making workshop for 11-15yrs

This summer Norfolk and Norwich Millennium library are running a fabulous free course for young people aged 11-15.

The Our Norfolk Story project is set to bring history to life through animation as participants work with three professional animators to explore Norfolk's hidden stories and create a unique film.

No experience is necessary and those taking part will gain their Bronze Art Award.

The young film makers of Norfolk are a talented lot and this is your chance to see what they’ve been up to.

Every year, on the Fusion Screen, we feature some of the best dramas, documentaries, music videos and animations made right here in Norfolk.
All the young people have worked with BBC Voices to develop their writing, filming and editing skills.

Come into Fusion to see this celebration of creativity.

BBC Voices is a media workshop and production unit for film, music and radio based at The Forum.

The team provides film making and radio editing workshops and sessions to individuals, groups, businesses, schools and colleges throughout the Eastern region.
